In search of theclub insignia

When the DSK Group approached Junglegym, they wanted to refresh the DSK Shivajians Brand, and were looking for a clean and modern crest that would still emphasize the heritage of the club. We dug deep into the history of the club and tracked back to their early days when they would train together at the College of Engineering Pune (COEP) grounds, one of Pune's oldest educational institutes located in Shivajinagar. We used the iconic COEP tower as the primary insignia of the club crest while retaining the diagonal stripes from their old identity to maintain brand recall value.

Simple & Memorable

The diagonal cut away on the colours were a key design element that we carried forward in the new identity. This bold and relatively simple graphic element was applied across all brand collaterals like flags, flyers, merchandize and apparel.

The Shivajians Sports Club was formed in 1987, in Shivajinagar, Pune, out of a need for a platform where footballers could hone their skills and play competitive football.
For the next decade the Shivajians dominated the football scene across Maharashtra winning tournaments at a State and National Level. In 2010, The DSK Group acquired the Shivajians football Club and renamed the club to the DSK Shivajians Football Club.
